St Andrew’s Church Reading Street

One family with Christ at the centre welcoming all

A member of the Broadstairs Group Ministry with St Peter-in-Thanet and Holy Trinity, Broadstairs.

St Andrew’s Church is a Christian community in the village of Reading Street, Broadstairs, in the Diocese of Canterbury. We are an active and growing Church, offering a genuine and friendly welcome to all ages, with an openness and concern, both for one another, and for the wider community, who regularly use our excellent hall facilities.

There is a Junior Church which meets in the Church Hall during the Sunday Service. Parents are welcome to stay with their children or join the rest of the congregation in the church.

We also have our affiliated uniformed organisations that regularly join with us for worship.
St Andrew’s has a strong choral tradition with a competent four part choir.

Our Mission Action works with all the congregation to raise money, both for local charities and mission abroad, and their activities form a significant element in the social life of our Church.

We would love to see you attending our church and we look forward to welcoming you soon.

Request for prayer:

If you would like the church to pray for you or a loved one, our “request for prayer” book is located within the Lady Chapel. Please feel free to enter the names of anyone requiring our prayers. Prayers will be said within the Wednesday morning prayer meetings. Alternatively, please contact the church office via the Contact Us page.

Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.”
